The Discovery Center will host expedition lectures as part of Seabourn Conversations , as well as recaps and briefings. Expedition sailings attract interesting, interested people who enjoy talking together, sharing their interests, their adventures and discoveries, and their life stories with longtime and newfound friends. Their enthusiasm and curiosity are far-ranging and are what spark their desire to travel the world. Your Expedition Team is a select group of academics, scientists and general naturalists who share your passion for exploring and learning more about the world’s remote regions. On board, they provide expert insights into the bio-diversity, ecosystems, physical science, history and culture of the places you visit, both in formal Seabourn Conversations presentations and casual discussions throughout the ship. On most evenings your Expedition Leader will deliver a briefing on what to expect during the next day’s expeditions. Other members of your Expedition Team will then debrief the present day’s adventures, drawing on their expertise to further enhance what you have experienced, whether ashore, Zodiac ® touring, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking or exploring the underwater world in one of our two custom-built 6 person subs.
