Discovery Center Just forward of the Expedition Lounge, the Discovery Center offers guests enrichment, enhancement and entertainment in a superb facility that carries the ship’s warm, earth-toned design into a stimulating, academic, audio-visual environment. n Comfortably accommodates all guests at one time n Centers on an immersive 8 ft. (2.5 m) by 33 ft. (10 m) high-definition video screen for lectures, en- tertainment and broadcast documentaries n Presentations and discussions by the world-class, 26-person Expedition Team highlight a wide array of topics relating to regions where guests are traveling RENDERING OF DISCOVERY CENTER n Generous size, ample facilities for cleaning and storage of expedition gear n Guests move in small groups from the Expedition Lounge to one of two Landing Zones to maximize their time ashore n Once prepared, guests are escorted by staff to the water-level shell doors on Deck 2 to step direct- ly from the ship into Zodiacs ® and kayaks n Guests in each group can be deployed in Zodiacs ® and off to their adventures within minutes Landing Zone Where guests prepare for and return from off-ship expedition activities.
